As a Sculptor
The beauty of working in wax is that it is portable unlike clay or stone. I was struggling with her head while working on the sculpture in my Eden studio so when I went to France, I actually took her head to Paris. I worked on it for a few days and went to the sculpture court at the Louvre to see how I was doing. After wandering around for a few hours looking at sculptures of women, I realized that my lady was fine and I took her back to my Eden, New York studio in the state she is here, knowing I had what I wanted and that the rest would be child’s play.
